Ravpreet "Ruby" Bhangoo

   Ravpreet “Ruby” Bhangoo is an associate at Dake, Braun & Monje, LLP, concentrating her practice on contract disputes, business litigation, and construction defects.  Ruby was born and raised in Bakersfield, and graduated from Ridgeview High School, before earning her bachelor’s degree with majors in Economics and Political Science from the University of California, San Diego.  She then went on to obtain her law degree from the University of California, Hastings – College of the Law.

   After law school, Ruby returned to Bakersfield to practice law, and joined the firm in April 2014.  With the firm, she has litigated numerous cases covering a wide variety of legal issues, including contract disputes, business litigation, and construction defects.  Ruby has played a key and active role in discovery, law and motions, and most importantly, trial preparation; she has also helped obtained numerous optimal settlements for the firm’s clients.

   Ruby’s past experience includes the Civil Division of the United States Attorney’s Office in San Francisco, California, The Advocates Law Firm, in Bakersfield, California, and at The Law Offices of Jacob Sapochnick in San Diego, California.
